Liseberg in the snow

Here is a few mixed pictures from the 2009 winter season of Liseberg that were taken over a few visits in December last year.
They were celebrating their 10 year anniversary since they first featured the Christmas Season in 2000.

I'm sorry to say that none of the big rides were open, and that parts of the park was of limits to visitors (mainly the top of the hill except for the observation tower) and that most of the opened areas were filled with small stands selling a lot of local specialities, handicraft, etc...

But I have to say one thing riding Rabalder when it's-10°C is really not pleasant...

Pictures!!

That looks spectacular in the snow.

That angle on Balder's turn is great too!

THE ICE BAR!

I (foolishly) assumed it would be open when I went in June, it was about the only disappointment of the trip... :-(

Thanks all!!

I forgot to mention that the pictures (except for one) are actually from my brother

^ The Ice bar were only operational for the 2006 season before, but only at a temporary location, this time it's a more permanent establishment. Though they will be forced to change the ice every year...

LOL at the following two things...

Somebody hasn't wiped the snow off the one at the back.

If you had thoughts about that sculpture then you should see this that one company was trying to sell this in their stand...
