What's new

Le Pal | Fjord Explorer | Mack Water Coaster | 2024

Wow I just hope it rides better than Poseidon 😂
It'll be good as long as they've improved their track shaping and train dynamics. Poseidon is ghastly, and the one in Denmark ain't much better. Not tried the new one at Nigloland to know if they've cracked it yet, mind.

Improved? Yes. Smooth? Not so much.
Think its just a fact of life now that Mack water coasters shuffle like f*ck

Looks fantastic, curious as to how the train will handle those turns and how well they'll age.

In any case the final bit of track was lifted in the day after that video was posted;

The transition between the first overbook and the next curve is a rather tight (for a water coaster) bunny hop. That, combined with that overbank/drop, makes me think there's been some sort of enhancement in the ability of the vehicles, or ride design as a whole. It's so far away from the others that have previously been built.

Aren't they all the OG imascore guys? Wonder what caused them to jump ship & start up another themselves?
Idk much about them, only heard their name recently cuz they're attached to Alpenexpress and the Tiroler Flume at Europa Park. Apparently Mahuka at Walibi as well. Maybe someone just really wanted their own startup?

Had a quick look
'The company was founded in 2009 by Andreas Kübler, Sebastian Kübler and Xaver Willebrand'

New company is both Kübler's and ex Ima employee Lucas Griewel

Cars are on site, and the ride will open 13th April:
