Another Cal Osha issue. They required a certain arm clearance, and when the park couldn't meet that because the station had already been constructed, arm shields were required for the ride to operate.
In the case of GL, its because there is literally no arm clearance at all:
The funny thing is you could twist your leg out sideways if you wanted.
Personally I think a park like Lost Island will buy it, they'll see the Intamin name and not realise what they are getting into.
Meanwhile I rode it pre mods and thought it was one of the best, most intense rides ive ever done.
