Took a few snaps of this while I was at the park last weekend. Looks quite good for a small park and nicely themed. I believe it's due to open at the end of the month.
We have a POV, seeing it on-ride makes me feel like the layout is a bit awkward. If you compare it to another family Gerst Firlefranz that is shorter in track i think Firlefranz has a much better flow and ride overall.
Agree it looks very awkward and has very strange pacing. It's like they gave them an option of multiple launches and a turntable and they agreed without thinking how they would factor in to the ride.
A bit awkward? Yes. Decent little family coaster? Also yes.
This is significantly better than what was there before. Throughput probably just as good too frankly.
The first half looks pretty fun, the second half lets it down a bit, but the swing launch/backwards gimmick will work well for the target audience and saves it I think. Realistically this will compete with Speed Rockets for the best coaster on park.
Edit: I don't think it's been clearly mentioned here before, but apparently the ride is capable of having the turntable face either way, and in each instance, launch the train to complete that loop either forwards or backwards? Leaving 4 possible options there. If true (and if done effectively), that adds a quirky re ride factor
Looks fun for the whole family but I agree, having the train stop mid ride to do essentially a separate layout compared to other coasters in this genre is a bit strange. What is definitely awkward is the placing of the camera for this on-ride footage.
