Intamin Space Diver

Was the Intamin Space Diver a decent ride? I never had the opportunity to ride Flashback so I wouldn't know.

I've heard that it was terribly rough. I do like the concept and its footprint should be a seller, but I think the roughness killed it. They could probably do a better job now with better technology and more experience, but I doubt it will happen.

^ I honestly doubt Intamin will make anything besides the general blitz and rocket coasters they've been cranking out. They stopped being diverse awhile ago. A zacspin here, an Impulse there, but mostly just rockets and blitz rides.

It really doesn't look too bad. I think it would have been awesome if they went all RCT2 on it and make those dives full inversions.

The problem was probably the trains more than the track, peoples neck and back had no support.

It seems they had plenty of support. Was there like too much G-Force?

I never really rode one before, but judging from the POV it seems pretty rough.

1. Because Intamin goes overkill with the OTSR
2. Because the turns are so sharp you risk getting jerked too far.

what they should have done was curved the seats in like MS does on there Xtended coasters.

I could easily see MS making a Space Dive replica, after all, their current rides suck so what do they have to lose?


And ^ it looks more like an SDC Hurricane type to me
