Incident at M&D's

^It's more the "What of there had been a fire" comment.

I wouldn't say there's a rivalry necessarily. Though it would be nice if we could get a few more Year 7 pupils at the start of the year who are capable of spelling their own name and have learned that biting people isn't acceptable.

I read the Sun! Am I f**ktard? Probably, but I don't care! I get my news from the BBC and my light entertainment from the Sun.

Anyway, in today's Sun newspaper the article stated at the bottom something similar to; "Two men were injured on Sunday when the Vampire ride at CWOA had an accident."

Anybody now anything about that?

Will still hasn't learnt the last one

EDIT: couldn't find nought about your Chessington story Ian :/

Yeah I read that Vampire comment at the end of the story in yesterdays Sun aswell but had a quick look and can't find anything about it on any other site so its probably something rediculously minor like stopping on the second lift hill suddenly or something..

It was on the news this morn. they tried to use a platform (the firebrigde) but it was sinking into the ground so they had to call the guys in with the ropes, thats one of the main reasons it took so long.

Those claims sound like a load of crap to me. Ones with good weight displacement are available commonly - unless we're talking about a sudden appearance of quicksand. Ultimately, there's no excuse for the park for not having a better plan that works.

This was told to one of the guys that was stuck on the ride by one of the firebrigade.

I like how the Philadelphia Eagles logo is on the wheel covers. But i feel for the people that had to sit there suspended like that. Hopefully there will be closer inspections of a "Traveling Roller Coaster"! That just sounds scary.

What gets me is what sort of person goes to a theme park with a child dressed as though they've just played football? Take a look at the first photo in the Sun article... The kid looks like he's just got off the pitch. Classy. :')

It's not exactly a big deal, I mean, Slammer left people inverted for an hour or so in 2005/2006... no big deal.
