Should make myself clear lol.

Will just a 4d show make a family go there? I don't think so.

When I say £200 that's tickets fuel etc. I wish people would stop just saying a day out at a theme park is the entrance money as its not, that's actually not even half.

But Alton are getting the new Nemesis thrill ride for next year as well. So there'll be something for thrill seekers AND for families.
It is popular and people like Ice Age and it's something where the characters are already established.
It'll be easier to get people to see an Ice Age 4D film than a new film that's made for the park that no one has heard of.
Remember it's all about profit.

loads of people still enjoy going to see them.

Well, loads of people go to see them. Enjoying them is a different thing altogether. Have a listen to the families leaving instead of counting the number of people going in and it will probably paint a completely different picture.

This one might be different, but in my experience the usual reaction to 4D attractions is something along the lines of, "Is that it, Mummy? That was crap."
