Can we just clear something up, mother****ers.
A 99 comes with a Cadbury's flake. If there's no flake, it's not a 99. Technically, if it's a cheap and nasty flake, it's also not a 99, as the term is a trademark owned by Cadbury. Therefore, stop referring to ordering "a 99, with a flake" or "I'll have a 99, and might pay extra for a flake sometimes" or whatever. That's full of FAIL.
Can you tell I spent a summer working in an ice cream kiosk? I pull a mean ice cream (and make an amazing sandwich, apparently)
In terms of ice cream vans driving past, I've never seen one near my flat, but then I'm a mile from the seafront, so that's hardly surprising. I heard one while up by Jake's house the other day, but didn't see it. There used to be one come along my parent's road every summer, but I don't know if he's still about.
