I need ideas for CF "Top 5" videos

I need your help. If you follow CF on Facebook and Twitter you might have noticed a series of Top 5 videos in recent weeks.

There are loads of things we can cover, such as Top 5 Intamin Launch Coasters, S&S Coasters, world records and so on. One thing I don't want to do is Top 5 Scariest Coasters or Top 5 Cedar Point (or other park) Coasters as they are unoriginal.

If you can think of interesting subjects for CF to cover, please post them here!

Wettest rides, best flumes, best air time, best flats, weirdest rides, most intense, most credit whoreish, best theming all of them are pretty unoriginal but hey ho

Top 5...
Inconsistent coasters, multi-inverting coasters, clone types, US/European/Asian etc coasters, Family coasters, Individual coaster elements, flat rides, first of their ride type coasters, coasters by decade, obscure coasters.

Like the sound of these videos, there's so much you could do!

Once you guys ride Wildfire, top 5 RMCs should be a good one.
Yep, been holding that off until it's open.

Lovely suggestions so far, chaps! Cheers.

Not a "top 5" idea, but more of a video idea. Perhaps, every once in a while, more of a discussion video, say a 2-minute video discussing the pro's and con's of VR coasters and how they compare against simulators, or whether we should treasure old coasters rather than replace them.

Top 5 "World's tallest", so rides that have at one point been the worlds tallest?

Good idea. Top 5 record breakers through history or something like that, so we're not just dealing with modern coasters.

Top 5 family coasters
Top 5 themed coasters
Top 5 iconic coasters
Top 5 theme park attractions of the last 5 years

Fab suggestions, cheers! Djmcbell, the VR discussion idea I'd ok but I'd rather stick to the Top 5 format because it's quick and easy. Maybe I'll do a VR styled vid one day but at the moment, I don't really want to help promote it.

Over the next few weeks I'll put your suggestions in the polls forum (unless you, as in anybody reading this wants to post them). CF is not a dictatorship where me and a few team members decide the top 5 - the existing Top 5 vids are based on replies to forum and social media posts. I tally up the responses to involve everybody.

I note there's a Best Floorless topic in Polls. It seems like a good one to go with next, so please add your comments if you haven't done already. viewtopic.php?f=78&t=39920

Ian - the VR idea was off the top of my head, just to illustrate a 2-minute discussion. You could have, for instance, a discussion on which fast-pass system works best, staying on-site vs off-site, perhaps a video showing what else there is to do around Orlando that isn't a theme park (a lot of people would probably appreciate that one, though it may not necessarily be something Coasterforce want to do - after all, it is COASTER force, not TripAdvisor).

Just something to help differentiate Coasterforce from other sites.

I like these Top 5 videos! Really nice and fun idea.

I'd suggest:

Top 5 Suspended Coasters
Top 5 Terrain Coasters
Top 5 Defunct Manufacturers

Inversions
Airtime
Airtime moments---I say that this is something like El Toro's Rolling Thunder hill, while the above is a whole coaster
Launches
Night rides
Beautiful coasters (so Mako)

Top five lift hills, maybe? Some have great views, some have great themeing, and some just get you pumped for the ride.

Also echoing the suggestions for best queue lines. In most cases, you'll spend a lot more time in queues than you will on rides.

"Best views to a coaster" could also be featured, although I don't think there's a particularly great library of CF off-ride videos out there. In the same vein, "best park skylines" could also be an idea.

How about top 5 coasters under 100'
Top 5 designated ACE Landmark coasters
Top 5 indoor coasters
Top 5 coasters that are so rough you'll never ride again.
