How to pronounce B&M?

So after watching a few documentaries on amusement parks and roller coasters(I know, such a goon), I noticed how many different ways people pronounce Bolliger & Mabillard. So I've been wondering how everyone, and or what the correct way to say it is. I've seen these pronunciations:

Ball-iger & Mab-ill-ard

Bah-ie-ger & Mab-ill-ard

Ball-iger & Mab-ie-ard

Bah-ie-ger & Mab-ie-ard

I personally pronounce it the first way. But what does everyone else say?

I always assumed that because they're Swiss, you'd just use French pronunciation, so:

Boll-ah-jay (soft j sound) & Ma-bi-yah

Never heard them pronounced though.

Just say B & M.

My pronunciation of Mabillard makes no sense. They're Swiss, yet I'm getting the Y sound from how LL is pronounced in Spanish!

The correct way to say it is however they pronounce their names, which, in their native French, is probably quite difficult for speakers of other languages.

I agree that "B&M" is the best way to say it.

Considering Walter Bolliger is German speaking Swiss and Claude Mabillard (at least his name is French, but a lot less is heard about him than about Mr. Bolliger), I'd say the correct way to put it is the 3rd one listed... But I'm no expert on the topic, so I'm open to any sort of correction.

That's how he pronounced it to me over the phone when I worked at WoF and had a brief conversation with him. I had to pretend I didn't know who he was. Such a hard internal goon moment.

Here is a simple way of saying it B which comes after A and before C, then we have an Ampersand which is this &. And of course we have the M which is after L and before the N.

So remember Kids Bee & eM or quite simply B&M thank you for listening.

The first option is how I say it. Although I normally just say B&M. I'm a basic bitch.

Bol-i-jer and Mab-il-ard. Dunno where I got the J sound from :?. Also when saying it quickly I say Mallibard instead of Mabillard... It just sounds better to me...

I don't know. I always say "B&M" but if I have to say it, I say "bowl-en-jer and mab-ill-ard" really quickly in a mumbled sort of way.

And

To make life easier, can we call them "Plonk & Duck"?

God I always am troubled with this question.

I typically default to Ball-iger & Mab-ill-ard. If I am mispronouncing it, just blame it on my Americanism. We do say Porsche with a silent "e" after all.

Gavin raises an interesting point about the french pronunciation...never thought of it that way.

I pronounce it 'Boll-ih-jer and Mah-bil-ard', well I didn't until now, I thought Bolliger was spelt 'Bollinger', so 'Boll-in-jer' but we'll skip over that. Whoops!
