Scone

What the hell is it anyway?
Pictures wont work, google cream tea.

The scone is a bread-like sweet thing. It is mainly consumed as part of a devon (WOOO!) cream tea (pictured), consisting of tea, jam, cream and a scone. There are lots of arguments about what should go on the scone first, cream or jam?

I should start another topic!

^Will this do?

They're awesome! Oh, and as for which goes first? I don't really know or care! I probably put the jam on first, it's a little firmer so allows the (softer) cream to be spread more easily.

Mm scones <3 I felt so English when I ate one in England last time.
I feel so Devonshire when I have one, I just want to jump on a tractor (pronounced tra'or) and feed some cows.

Better question. How do you translare Cheryl Cole? Even I can't understand her.
How do you spell translate?
You don't need to understand her anyway.

Due to this topic, sales of Asda's "Extra Special Fruit Scones" have increased by one unit!

I love all scones, particularly fruit, but cheese scones fresh from the oven are fantastic. I hate drop scones though, which are essentially a pikelet only not as nice.

^ Actually it's a soft 'c'. People at bakery counters often get confused and think I'm ordering an Xbox manufacturer when all I want's a baked good. :P
