It was a joke... Don't make me start bringing up stereotypes around the sense of humour of certain nations.
(Another incredibly inaccurate stereotype, in my experience.)
Haven't you heard about Berlin Brandenburg, Hamburg Elphi or Stuttgart 21?

German efficiency has died with the Transrapid, to be more precise it's been sentenced to death with the election of the Greens in '98.
b2t: It will take a very long time until the new name becomes common. Just look at Twitter.
I looked them up, watched some youtube videos...
Elphi: So this went on a little longer than planned, and maybe cost a little more, ok, ok... 10 x more, than planned... But my word, is it worth it. The place is incredible, and the way it's built to honour the area's history, by 'landing' on top of the original dockside warehouse. This is worth everything it took to make it happen, a fantastic achievement and incredible space. But yeh, nothing efficient about it.
Stuttgart 21: Crikey, that's a complex project, but it does make me think that maybe they're not doing so bad with HS2 afterall. Again you're right, definitely nothing efficient about it.
Anyway, back on topic...
@ECG as well as discussing the water park and updates up to 2028, that article / page mentions the spinner still opening in 2025! Is that a snippet from an older, out of date, article? or is it a mistake? They're obviously not still targeting summer 2025, are they. We'd see vertical construction by now and, as Cookie reported. they are seemingly delaying it until 2028. (At the earliest?)
Google translate:
New themed worlds
Among the planned innovations is the "Blinky Bill Zone," scheduled to open in April 2025. This adventure area is dedicated to the Australian koala bear Blinky Bill. New indoor attractions are also being built, including a theater play featuring the cartoon character Maya the Bee and a Smurf attraction featuring a gondola ride that takes visitors through a themed Smurf world.
A new ride will open in summer 2025 in collaboration with the Belgian music festival Tomorrowland. It will feature rotating floats and various launching elements.
Bit odd that the article still says this, is all I'm thinking.
