It looks like Hersheypark will be adding a few new things for the 2014 season, including a family coaster.

Hersheypark has also updated their website: http://www.hersheypark.com/general_info/new_2014.php

I might be visiting Hershey next summer, so I'm up for this. A new family coaster means +1 cred! :D

Hersheypark certainly needs a kiddie cred and it's going to be a Zamperla Family Gravity Coaster 80STD with a helix in the center like Woodstock's Express at Dorney Park, Howler at Holiday World, Grand Exposition Coaster at Silver Dollar City, the Road Runners at Six Flags parks and the Runaway Trains at Flamingo Land & Gulliver's.

Yea, the new family coaster will be taking up the kiddie flumes location if I remember correctly.

^Trailblazer isn't a kiddie coaster. It's a family coaster and children have to be at least 48 inches tall to ride unaccompanied.

Track and train have arrived on site.

So now the big three parks in the NJ/PA area have a Zamperla kiddie cred for themselves. It feels weird saying that since I rode the other two before my first day of Kindergarten...

Station work is nearing completion.
