You've queued up for a ride, you can't wait to ride it!

You sit down in the seat, pull down the restraint and UH-HO! The restraint won't lock.

If you're too tall, too fat or have massive thighs, you have to do the walk of shame.

Have you ever had to do it?

I guess we had to do the Walk of Shame after BREAKING that kiddie coaster in Norway, but, we did get it later <3

Other than that, um, no. Think it'd be a cold day in Hell before I'm too fat for a coaster tbh.

That wasn't our fault! If the amazing ride op had made us ride singularly in the first place, we wouldn't have buggered the kick wheel! :p

I've never done the Walk of Shame. Yet.

Apart from Kiddie Coasters, the closest I've been is probably the Wild Mouse at Playland Park in New York State. It has a height limit of 5ft 10, but we managed to slouch and sneak on. I think Mike got rejected? Haha!

Apart from that, I came close on Raptor at Gardaland because of my legs.

But nope, never been fully rejected, and after the Raptor incident I've hardly eaten anything out of fear!

Not due to my size, but I've walked straight on and then straight through to the exit on Nemesis Inferno after feeling

just before getting on.

Nope.

I have done the 'You can't ride this because you aren't a kid' once or twice tho.. which is just annoying more than embarrassing.

Not yet but I'm nearing the limit for SLC's and other Vekoma coasters.

Strange isn't it that the only major dutch coaster company has height restrictions that most other coasters don't while the dutch are on average the tallest people in the world.

Nope. I'm just below average height and I'm not (very) plump, so I've never had to. :)

This happened to Gavin too. It was

ridiculous, there was no way he was going to get hurt being a fraction over that limit. Brad couldn't reach anything, and he's pretty gangly. :p

I've never been rejected but I don't do certain ride types anymore due to the restraints are too tight (top spins eg). I'm 1.87 meters and can't see why ride manufacturers don't design rides that fit people like me, 1.87 sure aint that tall?? :?

Re: Have you ever done the "Walk of Shame"?

^ Go to Lotte World and see if you could make the cut to ride Atlantis Adventure since they have a really strict 1.87m policy on that ride.

Back on topic, nope never...

Posting on the go...

Nope. I have however, done the walk of shame for, well, "pussying out" (if I can say that). But, the only thing I would be asked off for is being too tall. No one in their right mind would call me fat.

Yes, pretty easy answer. I've been borderline with the restraints as long as they've had them and sometimes they don't fit. Had to do the walk a few times, but only a few. It usually makes me determined that I'll fit on next time I go, and I have done.

I chose "no", but then remembered that I was too tall for the wild mouse coaster at Playland Park. I'm pretty sure I was actually sitting down in the thing before the ride ops asked me to get out and measured me.

However, it's not like it's because I was too fat or anything; I don't consider walking away because of my statuesque frame to be a "walk of shame", so choosing "no" on the poll still stands.
