Well it's Intamins name for a Splash down type ride. Not really applicable here I guess as it's not an Intamin but it's all I could think to call it.

Shoot the Chutes is the big splasher, Log flumes (regardless of theme, IMO) are the small splashers.

To American enthusiasts, at least AFAIK.

I get the feeling it pitters off at the end, the pace is nowhere near as intense as it was halfway through the ride.
