H - Aitch or Haitch?

I say Aitch when saying just the letter.

Then on this basis/theory, you should say "haitch" - the clue's in the letter

Well I meant that it doesn't sound like aitch or haitch when I say a word with "H" in it, just when I say the letter by itself, not the way it sounds in a word.

I just confused myself. :lol:
