'Gollum like' Creature Crawls out of Lake

This is fake because:

-The article is vague and lacks detail (ie "a lake in Panama...").
-Sloths live in trees, not lakes.
-The first four pictures only show the creature above the waist (why?).
-The creatures skin appears very pale and soft, not at all like the weathered, callous skin of an animal that has been living in the jungle with nothing covering it.
-Supposedly the creature was stoned to death, but there are no signs of injury.
-The kids are apparently terrified of the creature, but after it stops moving they decide to not only approach it, but pick it up and throw it into the lake, which in and of itself seems pointless.
-The first set of pictures show the creature with its head on the downward side of the slope with its arms hanging over the side, while in the second picture it is turned around with its arm on the rock (in fact, it doesn't look like the same rock at all).
-The article says the body washed up. Water is not visible in the first set of pictures, in which you can clearly see several feet below the body. So, unless this lake has tides or some very impressive waves, the body was placed there.
-The article suggest that the lake is isolated (ie the kids are the only ones there, the body has time to "wash up" when they get their parents). What kind of tourists let their kids go run off to a remote lake in the jungles of Panama?
-The parents were apparently motivated enough to notify the authorities (or maybe others in the area) but not enough to take any measure to preserve the body, instead just leaving it there. Why couldn't the kids take back since apparently they have no problem carrying it. But they didn't and the body was "picked apart." Convent, no?

Here's what really happened: Whoever is behind these blatant SHENANIGANS shaved (or otherwise removed) the hair off the top half of a dead sloth (lazy pranksters) and took the first set of pictures. The last picture is at a different place and may or may not even be the same body. There is actually only one monster out there that would rise out of the water to attack his unsuspecting victims, may his may his jagged, luminous dorsal fins emmit deadly gamma rays ever more:

^ Sure we do. It was just fun to see LFTL make a big deal out of it and mentioning she used to be afraid of E.T.

It's great isn't it. Something 'different' that no-one's been before approaches some teens and they kill it. I bet they made up the story of it looking like it was going to attack them.
I know the story is probably fake but even so it doesn't help in clearing up the image of thuggish teenagers.

^ Come on, we all know it's fake anyway. Don't we?

I don't think it's fake! It wasn't 100% confirmed that it was a sloth, that's just what they said now. Besides, there are lots of unknown creatures yet to be discovered, so it's not that out there.

Well we're just saying it probably is for reasons stated above that it lacks credibility.

I agree with all of these. And if you had an argument I'd love to hear it. Oh yeah and you double posted.
