Preferably not, the best part of visiting a park for me is time spent with friends and family.

The only time I've gone alone was when I had to go to Alton Towers to get my first Merlin Annual Pass, after I got it I went round the park for a couple of hours doing Thirteen, Rita and Nemesis. It's not something I hated as such but it wasn't much fun so I doubt I'd do it again.

Sounds like I might get a slightly different experience from the day.

It has its pros and cons. If the park is quiet, or you can whore single rider queues all day, it can be great fun to just ride whore all day. If the park is really busy and you're forced to spend half the day standing in queues on your own then it sucks.

I did cedar point on my own. I love going it alone because I can network with alot of people while waiting in queue lines. In one day at Cedar Point I group hopped 4 different times.

No I've never been to a park alone, but I'm starting to consider it. None of my friends are enthusiasts and they don't want to do the same things I like to do at parks. Last week I went to Alton Towers and they all insisted on queueing for rides such as Spinball and Thirteen even though I told them it's not worth it. Going on my own would make things a lot simpler imo.

Neverrrrr.... I guess if I was travelling alone and had the chance to go to a park I really wanted to go to I probably would, but I imagine it would be pretty crap.

I wish I could go alone, because I always end up going with a group, and then I end up having to lead them around the park. Plus, in a group you have to keep everyone else's interests into account, alone, you can just run wild.

It's like buying a pint and drinking it alone at a pub, in one respect, having a good drink should be a social activity with friends and colleagues, in the other, you probably just one some quiet time to do what you want to do.

I'd have to equal it out, I think having friends with you can make the experience far more enjoyable, but then again, can sometimes be a pain when you've been together for hours and become bored of one anothers voice. I've done rides on my own, I often talk to other riders if need be, first time riding Hurakan Condor I was on my own, I was **** myself! So I started talking to the bloke in front, and he was **** himself too, we went on together in the end, so all was good!

No chance, that would be gash, I have gone off to ride coasters on my own before, no problem, If my group wants to go off and do something completely pants, no problem I`ll get a fast track or single rider in. But actually planning, travelling, paying and queuing all day on my own? No thanks.

Yes, but I usually go with a friend. Probably just as well, no more SRQs to use at Thorpe Park any more. :/
