Galveston Pier | "Iron Shark"| Gerstlauer Eurofighter

While the lap bars should improve it, I cant help but think of how painful it'll be when it slams into them brakes!
 
This may just be me, but the final brakes on Saw are quite jerky. It feels like they are being switched on and off really quickly... as with the brakes after the heartline roll (on Saw).

Yeah, he will do, but still, the breaking force this is going to have to have will have to be pretty great as it's a minuscule layout, without a pretty short break run (judging from the magnetic fins on the break run).
 
Being stopped quickly doesn't really hurt if the brakes are magnetic. Regardless of the restraints. If anything, its a bit more comfortable with lap bars as you're shoulders aren't pushing into the restraints. I've never had a problem with them anyway.

I think the Eurofighter with lap bars is a great move! I can't wait to see this thing in action and hear about how it rides.

Xcelerator is a great example of this, I'd estimate the braking force to be upwards of 1 g and yet it isn't painful at all.
 
Soft opening this weekend, starting Friday at noon.

No Iron Shark or Ferris Wheel though.
(One more ride isn't finished yet, but I forget what it is.)
 
No it won't. The Star Flyer hasn't even been constructed yet, not one piece has been installed. It's going to be back by the Ferris Wheel.
