Was that some kind of hideous psychological immersion therapy?

"Today ve shall simultaneously treat your fear ov both clowns und rollercoasters! Ya?"

Clowns are awesome.
No. They are not.

Infact, conversely, I think it was the circus (as in the actual circus, not the ride) at Chessington that gave me my fear of clowns.

Barnstormer at Mickey's Toontown Fair in WDW. :p
I was 8 the first time I went to Disney World and I wasn't scared at all!
That's were my roller coaster obsession started:)

The Roar at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. My mom made such a big deal out of Coasters, she didn't let me get on until I was twelve. I was scared out of my mind because of her, thinking I was gonna die. But when I got on... It was a whole different story. Ever since then, I've been crazy about Coasters.

First Coaster: The Dragon at Legoland Windsor
First Inversion: Daemonen at Tivoli Gardens

I'm pretty sure my first coaster was the Space Chase at Adventure Island (the figure 8 one next to where the giant dome was), and I remember having to wait ages sitting in the train as the ops refused to run it without a minimum number of people in, or something like that.

If that wasn't my first coaster, then it would've been something in Norfolk, so possibly Rocky Roller Coaster at Pettitts or on Rattlesnake at Pleasurewood.

Isn't White Lightnin' also a launch Jerry? Weight drop or flywheel?

Was the Shockwave at GrAdv the same one that was at King's Dominion? I could look it up, but let the discussion flow here :)

My first coaster was a, now defunct, Galaxi ride at "Hassans Nöjesfält" in Åhus Sweden. Next up was my first wooden coaster Rutschebanen at Tivoli Gardens. And my first looping coaster was Hang Over at Liseberg. Nothing specially really, maybe exept the fact that Hang Over still remains as one of the most intense rides I've ever ridden!

My first coaster was Goudurix, at Parc Asterix(my avatar).. For those of you who don't know it has 7 inversions, so it was kinda scary at first just looking at it, but it rocked. Next we went on Tonnerre de Zeus, a woodie at Asterix. Between the two i would say Tonnere de Zeus was better, altrough it has no inversions, the speed felt like a whole much more than what it actually was...

mine was at pleasureland (which was closed down) in southport when i was only 3. it was one of those kiddy catapiller ride things, i was scared the first time i went on it so i sat with my mum :L I miss that park allot, all of those childhood memories gone :/
