Fantasiana | Helios | Mack Stryker Coaster | 2025

I feel Mack Stryker/BigDipper situation is very much the same as the Gerstlauer Eurofighter/Infinity thing. There's probably differences in the chassis, maybe the track gauges . . . but they're almost unidentifiable from a general point of view and need to be dissected under a microscope to spot the true differences.

Even less distinguishable since even the lapbar Eurofighters use a different train/restraint design to the 2-row infinities. If Voltron was the definition of Stryker I'd get that it was a style/layout compactness thing but if this is a Stryker, I'm confused.

Stryker is capable of launches and longer trains (I think they can go up to 6 rows?), I think that's effectively the main difference (aside from possible hardware changes). Unless Mack discontinued the BigDipper, the fact Helios is a Stryker is indeed confusing. But ultimately doesn't really matter, this little thing is gonna slap. The superfast lift is funny as well, I assume it's just that speed for initial tests to make sure it completes the layout.

So this apparently a Big Dipper coaster with Stryker trains, the Stryker train is the further development of the Big Dipper train.

The park manager did a post on the coaster friends forum discussing it.

There is also this video with an interview which states the same.

The Big dipper then seems to be the "basic" and i guess cheaper version, it will have a lift and layout with a 8 seater car.

The Stryker will have launches and have more unique elements such as turntables, spike elements and a long train if you want. Im using google translate but this is what i understood from the sources.

Also the park are looking at an April 12th opening. :D

The inversions over the park entrance are some Rollercoaster Tycoon level **** and I love it.

My only concern with the layout is how much speed it loses during the turn before the barrel roll downdrop. I wonder if it might valley in high winds? The remaining elements also look pretty slow, but I'm sure it won't feel as slow onride and you'll possibly get some sideways hangtime on the last outerbank thingy.
