I emailed them today to ask if it would be open in time for their opening season and this was their response:

If the park haven't released the opening date yet, realistically what did you expect them to respond with?

I highly doubt whoever replied even has tabs on the exact status of Voltron, so e-mailing them about it just seems like a fruitless endeavour to me.

Please note that this will not be the rides final speed. The park stated in the comments that the ride is running (a bit) faster than it will during normal operations. If it were my descision, I would keep the speed as it is

Additionally the seats aren't attached which will naturally increase the drag and slow it down somewhat

Didn't see it test once over the 3 days we were there (last day yesterday). I wouldn't get your hopes up

The park put out there next construction video See here, its worth a watch as there are some great birds eye view shots of the coaster.





There are some wider shots of testing.



Does look amazing, loving the time they are putting into this.

Yes new storage/workshop to replace the old one dismantled for the coaster

I noticed this is in November but couldn't grab a picture at the time but looks like they've been testing/running Voltron Wheels on Blue Fire

Might just be a different mix to accomodate for lower temperatures. I have a wheel used for testing the coasters prior to opening, and that looks the same.
I also don't know if Voltron uses larger diameter wheels.
