Energylandia | Zadra | RMC I-Box

I'm in the process of booking work off for mid October but I'm not going to fully commit until it opens. For two of us it works out at £150 each for three nights in a nice apartment, flights and tickets for both parks. Plus if we fancy the zoo next to Legendia it's only a fiver. Also with Poland you can eat amazing food at fancy restaurants for the same price you'd pay for an average UK chain. I'm getting excited just thinking about this trip, the next few weeks will be agonising!

Poland is great for short breaks, we love Krakow, last year we found places to drink for basically 80p a beer (off the main sq.) I don’t smoke, but shall we just say the fact that I don’t smoke paid for my trip, if you catch my drift ;)

I don't know if that's possible with the amount of structure around certain parts. I don't think I've ever seen an RMC pull through.

Really? I assumed they’d just use pulleys attached to points of the track ahead like other manufaturers do with tunnels, framwork and structures etc. But thinking about it, I don’t recall ever seeing images or footage of an RMC pull through.

The last batch of images had people climbing all over the structure. I don't know the intricacies of roller coaster construction, but I'd imagine they'll be wrapping that up shortly, and testing will commence. Anyone remember how long Hyperion cycled trains before it was good to go?

Depends per train. Different manufactures have different standards. Also Poland/EU may have certain regulations. I'd like to think they'd test for at least 2 weeks at 12 hours a day with all three trains (it has three right?) before shoving this off to the ether. But, you know, thats me being optimistic.

There's about as much chance as Zadra opening Thursday as there is Thorpe Park opening an RMC Thursday.
You really think so? That's brilliant news for Thorpe!

Seriously though let's remind ourselves - again - that 15th Aug was never an official opening date. An actual opening date has never been announced. So we have no right to be disappointed that it's not opening this week. Remember when this was a 2020 project!?

And then when it just fell over halfway through construction...
