Drayton Manor - 2009

I know they need more food places, but what a silly place to build it. The smell is going to hit the coaster and make people feel ill.

Same reason I am always happy to get off Rita, the smell of food.

^That food place is being re-done, so it's always been there... Never affected me...

As someone said, sometimes you have to revise your internal structuring before spending cash on bigger rides, I still like Drayton, has the nice family atmosphere similar to Chessie and Oakwood, the rides are a bit crap in some cases but I still manage to enjoy myself when I go...

Considering how big Thomas Land was for them, I'm not shocked with a smaller addition...

I was shocked ny the amount of building work going into the cinema. Was expecting a crinkly tin monstrosity, but it's brick and everything! :)

I like the quirk appeal of Drayton, the rides are lame, but amusing in the right company (ie you're gonig for a laugh with mates who also understand the joke aspect of a piss-poor ride). However, please, you need a good new thrill ride... Note the word "good" there. Hint: Alton are trying to be big for 2010 - steal their thunder! ;)

^With Maelstrom and Apocolypse, and Pandemonium, Drayton already have some of the best flats in the country, so **** knows what you're on about.

Anyway, I wouldn't class a 4D theatre as a flat ride. It's more of a show really. Personally I'd rather see another decent flat over one of those.

I'd rather see a decent anything. It might be nice for this park to get at least one ride worth while.

Oh wait, I still wouldn't go back, because It's a concrete hell-hole.

Taken today from the Press event and throughout the day.

Taken 1st thing before the ride opened.

I know it's just a 4-D cinema, but they HAVE made a real effort with the building.

Looks nice and neat and new...

Now, new coaster please Mr Bryan :)

Wow, That has made changed my mind about Drayton VASTLY, I was expecting a shed and **** queue line but hey it shows that they are trying to listen to what people say! Good effort I must say! Although I ain't too keen on the Chicken Diners colour..

Ok, I'll give you Apocalypse and Maelstrom, but I hate Pandemonium, with a passion.
