How about **** national health I want my cigarettes. If you don't like the smoke then stay away from smokers.

We've been kicked to the kerb, literally with the smoking ban which is possibly the worst thing thats happened to this country since Jade Goody.. If anyone ever dared to ban smoking they'd have and a few million people revolting.

Trouble is, if they did manage to corner you and give you a kicking, you'd not be able to go to casualty, as the NHS would fail in weeks if it wasn't supported by the taxes smokers generate. They cost the NHS, but put much more into the country than the NHS takes. So smokers money into the coffers far outweighs what they take out.

So, as smokers are making sure that you have health care - I'd be nice to them

If people want to smoke thats their choice not yours, maybe they should ban something you enjoy or want to do.

UGH, can we corner him and give him a kicking anyway? Over the course of the last year, I've developed something of a disliking for evangelical non-smokers with irritating superiority complexes. Not least because, as this topic illustrates, the people who were condemning the smokers a year or two back, make up many of the experimental/occasional cigarette fiends, myself included.

I posted here because this is not a smokers thread, it is a do you smoke thread, and I answered the question and gave my reasons.
Sorry if I find smoking vile and wrong, but thats my opinion and everyone is entitled to one.

Well if you'd read my post properly you would have seen that I said I didn't smoke. If you had read my post properly you would have seen 98 in inverted commas. So yes I know you're not 98.
