So while nothing is certain yet, the one rumor that I keep hearing about Djurs' 2015 plans, is that they will be focusing on building an entire new kiddie area.

I really hope this is true as their current kiddie area has been in need of an update for some time now.

I would love to see something along the lines of Liseberg's new "Kaninlandet" with a Gerstlauer family coaster to top things off.

We'll see soon enough!

I'd like them to keep going after the family thrill market, because they're doing that brilliantly at the moment. I don't expect them to slow down anytime soon either. I'd put a good chunk of money on them getting a wing coaster within the next couple of years. They've obviously got the money to build such a coaster and it'd suit their audience down to the ground.

I get where you're coming from, but if you're talking about a B&M Wing Coaster, I can tell you that it's very unlikely.

But the park is indeed growing fast and as you say, they're probably not gonna slow down anytime soon.

The park will announce their 2015 news this saturday.

Translated their Facebook post about it:

Look forward to BIG BIG news in 2015!

Uuhhhh ... We can not wait - on Saturday we will reveal next year's big news in the park when we have opening day for Magical Halloween. Come and check it out, if you want to be among the first to hear about the news.

- Psst .. you also have a hard time keeping a secret?

Will keep an eye out for the announcement as it's a quality park already, interested to see where they focus.

Really hope(like goonfield) that they carry on with the family thrill side of things as juvelen was such a success.

My friend is at the park right now and took this picture of some concept art they got in the park!

A new area themed to a farm with 10 new rides including a new coaster!

Looks awesome! Just what they needed!

^Far from original, unless you were being sarcastic?

Looks like a really nice area. I've yet to visit Djurs, so I'll probably plan to check this out next year.

Can I come next year Peep? I love Djurs ride selection. I think a farm theme would fill the gap for their younger guests. Bang-on what they need.

I'm not sure a wing coaster would fit too well. Although we know they are fairly tame, I think the look of one would daunt some families with young kids. It wouldn't fit somehow with Juvelen and Piraten. My vote would be for an Anubis.

I <3 Djurs. Although this certainly aimed at the younger guests, I just know it'll be fab.

Where is this going in the park?

^ It is going where the current kiddie area is, so all will be demolished and build from the ground up.

Also, here's the complete ride list:

Zierer Force II
2 Zierer Family Freefall Towers
Zamperla Demolition Derby
Zamperla Magic Bikes
Zamperla Barnyard
Zamperla Jump Around
Metallbau Emmeln Duck Ride
Metallbau Emmeln Tractor Ride
Wooddesign Merry Go Round Animal Carrousel
Themed playground for smaller kids.

A Ziera Force II is a decent enough kiddy option - the same as Rabalder in Liseberg if anyone wants a point of reference - and the whole area is a sensible addition really since there's not a great deal there for really young kids at the moment.

This is probably the right thing to do, as I really don't remember much about the kiddy area. It didn't leave an impression at all, whereas the rest of the park looked fantastic.
Not the most original theme but sort out the existing kiddy area and use any additional land for the next family thrill.
What's happening to the apple?

DelPiero, you've just reminded me of the appalling queue the apple had when I was there last. Like an hour or something hideous. Just goes to show how much they are in need of a dedicated kiddie area.

The wacky worm and the other rides has been sold to another park.

Thought it was time for an update in this topic.

Djurs' has released concept arts for all the new rides going in.

I love those drawings of the animals. They look like something I would draw. Djurs should hire me next time!

When I visited last year I thought the kiddie area was in need of a spruce up, this is going to make a great addition to an already lovely park.
