In my student halls/corridor, it's spoon, fork, knife. I think it's a pretty good system, strangely enough I'm not overly fussed about the order, yet I wouldn't like them to be lying around randomly in heaps in a drawer, like in the photo Hixee posted.

God, students are organised in Sweden! And trustworthy. There was no way in hell I'd mix my cutlery with that of my flatmates, they'd probably use forks to pick their toes with, or spoons to unclog their hangover sick from the sink. *shudder*

My arrangement is called 'student' and it consists of various pieces of cutlery, all of different shapes, sizes and brands, along with other such items as random piece of string, key to nothing and cheap can-opener that doesn't work, all bunged into a drawer together.

And how its meant to be:

Knife, fork, spoon. Then teaspoons along the bottom

Those posts describe my cutlery drawer perfectly.

So, your drawer is like mine, as in, a perfect mess, but also it's organised into knife, fork, spoon, teaspoons at the bottom.....yes.

^He's quoting your layout, and saying it's meant to be in walker's layout.

My layout is the "student layout"- Chucked into the bottom of my cupboard! :)
