Hey I can imagine that this topic already exists but the search function was out of use just now.
So what coasters have you been on that are now defunct? - this excludes rides which have been moved to another park but includes rides that are in permanent storage or SBNO.

How was the ride? The park was open for less than a year, plus I've always been wondering about how was the experience like...

About my actual list, it is pretty short, I think that the only coaster that I've ridden and doesn't exist anymore was the old powered figure 8 coaster in Movieland. Three of the coasters were relocated, otherwise they are all still up and running.

Otherwise I think that's it. Never went on Hypersonic XLC because the lines were always rediculous

Yes yes, more than a few have found new homes, but Deja Vu is defunct as far as it being at Magic Mountain! (I've re-ridden it already at SFNE)

I know the park only lasted for 6 months or so. It's been exactly 10 years since my visit but from what I remember the idea of the "park" was pretty good, theming was very impressive but unfortunately there weren't many rides, you basically were good to go home after 1 hour.
Galaxy Express was rather bad. I don't know how much you know of that ride but you had to pull a hood over your head to look into an animated screen during the ride. It just did not feel right to me plus there was a bit of head banging.

But yh, I'm proud to have gotten to experience it along with a number of more unique but now defunct rides such as Gebirgsbahn at Phantasialand which was one of my first rollercoasters ever in 1993, yet it was destroyed in a massive fire in 2001 and Lethal Weapon/Cop Car Chase which used to be a stunning ride under Warner Bros. as it had really good stunt effects such as a burning car flying over your head whilst entering the heartline roll. I also loved Sierra Tonante and Cyclone at Southport Pleasureland should never ever have been allowed to be destroyed as it was such an historical piece!
