The exclusive Disneyland Club 33 lies behind this non-descript door in New Orleans Square. Everyday at Disneyland, many people pass by this door either not knowing what it is or wishing they could go in.

What is Club 33?

Walt Disney wanted his own corporate style lounge after he returned from the 1964 World’s Fair. He wanted his own area to entertain distinguished guests and visiting celebrities that would be near his planned apartment above the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Sadly, Walt Disney passed away before he could ever see the club finished.

It is details like this for why I enjoy Disneyland more than Disney World.

Yeah... There's a lot more info available, plus plenty of pictures and videos.

That and simply copy/pasting from someone else's blog without making any contribution of your own isn't nice.

I'll go ahead and add some more substance:

A portion of Club 33, the Trophy Room, is planned to be removed to allow for an expanded kitchen space.

Club 33 is a members only establishment, where members and guests are able to dine and enjoy a full bar. These same members are also able to ride in the presidential car on the Disneyland Railroad, while enjoying other perks around the park.

Basically, members are pretty baller.

I love Club 33, it's genius.

I've been researching it for a while now but the actual cost of your annual fee and induction is remarkable.

Patience (maybe several years), and More money than sense I think

Membership to Club 33 is a privilege with many nice benefits. Really, the only criteria to become a member is to express an interest, wait, then pay

The current levels are:

Corporate - price unknown but, higher than Platinum.
Platinum: about $35,000.00 Initiation and $11,000.00 - $12,000.00 annual fee.

Club 33 is a 1%er club. In addition to the membership dues you are expected to drop a certain amount of $$$ on each visit, or pay for a single day ticket.

They only recently reopened the waiting list, rumor has it that it is 10 years long..
