My head just isn't processing how this works.
That looks better than expected!
I actually think it looks pretty cool. I can imagine it being very disorientating, especially with all of the directional changes.
I like this because it feels very unique.
I find it a little disappointing that the video keeps cutting, though. As if the repeated back-and-forth-in-the-same-place sections are exactly as unthrilling in real life as it looked on the animated POV.
It looks extremely disorientating, I kinda want it now.
Ummmmmm why is the water brown?
Probs because they haven't cleaned it out after the construction of it.
Well its gone vertical. Can't wait to see this go up.
They really are using all the colours
I can imagine the conversation now:
Weigand: Okay, so that's the technical aspects of this project agreed. Now for the fun part - what colour would you like it in?
Chimelong: Oooh yay. What colours does it come in?
Wiegand: Well, here's our range. *gives Chimelong a catalogue of their colour swatches*
Chimelong: *after flicking through the catalogue* Yup. Looks good to us.
Wiegand: Which colour do you want, then?
Chimelong: Oh, all of them, please!
Sometimes multicolour works when they're all the same shade of colour, this literally is 50 Shades of [everything but] Grey.
It's almost like they knew it'd look like a monstrosity regardless, so decided to make it as much as a statement as possible
My thinking is that the shocking colours are perhaps to make the slide look a lot less intimidating and sinister. Tbh, if I saw one of those at a park and it was all white/black or all one colour, I would think it to be less appealing and more claustrophobic. Might just be me though.
More construction shots.
The wheel is now open!
Sloshing around in piss 30 minutes after opening. No thanks.
