Yep, don't worry, all the buildings are still there. The main change is the removal of the games stall and planted areas (like the bit with trees that used to act as a backdrop to a small stage and the trick or treat thing).
That's great then. It was one of the shoddiest parts of the park that actually needed attention IMO. It looks much slicker now and they even seem to have made some space.
I agree with Martyn and John. (Sorry Neal ) I think that making it look like a 'generic town centre' actually modernises the place, it looks cleaner, so a positive for the park at least but yeah, seating would be gooood
I disagree, it's supposed to be a theme park not Woking High Street.
Sure, it looks "clean and modern" but that's not the way forward. Admittedly though, it fits in with Merlin's ideology of no new rides and lots of shops, so maybe it does make sense.
