I'm gutted I missed the meet up this year but I did my best to replicate it in Melbourne in Australia.
So i went to their winter wonderland on the same day.
It is not quite as good as the London one... it has about 10 rides and the only coaster is the wacky worm you can see on the right here. The temperature was a bit nicer though and a toasty 39degrees. How that Santa didn't die of heat stroke I have no idea.
Following this I had a couple of drinks at their version of the Sherlock Homes. which was actually a pretty decent pub. Wasn't quite the same without everyone else though and I was sad I didn't win a Lint Remover this year.
Haha yes they put up winter themeing like snow. But really only because of the big Santas Grotto type thing and a Christmas show. Since Father Christmas does live at the North Pole it does at least make some sense.
Most of the visible Christmas stuff in Australia is in the form of ubiquitous lights and Christmas songs though can't get away from Noddy Holder even on the other side of the world.
