Blackpool Pleasure Beach - 19/10/2013 Brief trip report

Highlights

Night time riding
PMBO was flying
Was a great atmosphere at Pleasure Beach
Got some great pictures of the Flying Machines at night
Very warm despite rain during day

Lowlights
Heavy rain (Mid afternoon)
4 rides shut due to the thunder.
The rain possible could of stopped the chance of 9pm close

Here are my pictures from yesterday

The weather started off wonderful, it was clear sky's, very warm and was a great day to be at Pleasure Beach

The park was extremely busy.

But then around about 4:30, the weather decided to take a turn for the worse... The rain was actuality bouncing of the floor and there was thunder which resulted in Big One, Rev, Avalanche and Steeplechase (Shutting down for about 30 minutes)

After the rain had stopped, it turned back into really nice weather.

The queue for the Big One was full earlier and now look at it

Blackpool is by far the best park in the UK, so I'm glad you had a good time. I'm shocked to see it so busy though, I've never seen a queue on Revolution reach the bottom of the stairs! Oh and nice photo's, most peoples (including mine) look all the same, I like the way you've gone for some unique angles with them.

A queue down the stairs for the Revolution is quite common and the Big One queue earlier on in the day was full which is about 1 hour and 30 minutes on a 2 train service.

If there was no rain, Pleasure Beach would of probably shut at 9pm like they did a few weeks back.
