Germany is argubly the best country in Europe for theme parks and coasters, but which one is your favourite? I'm talking about the total experience, and not just the coaster on itself.

For me personally, it's a close one between Silver Star, Expedition GeForce and Black Mamba. Blue Fire is also amazing, but I'll just keep it to three picks.

Silver Star gave me airtime like no other coaster. Not the strongest, but the most enjoyable airtime with incredibly comfortable trains and restraints. It is also the only coaster of this scale that I've ridden. It's huge and it's fab <3

Expedition GeForce was running very well when I rode it, and gave me the strongest airtime I've experienced. The first drop was also fantastic. Many hills and all of them had ejector. It takes one of my favourite things on coasters, and delivers plenty of it.

Black Mamba is one of the best themed coasters I've seen. Fantastic immersive queue-line and station. The dispatch is a wonderful touch. The ride itself is also great. Quite intense as well, as it always gets my adrenaline going. The landscaping around the ride is second to none.

One thing I'd like to mention though... Since I've ridden Black Mamba over four days during different times of the year, and the others only during one visit, Black Mamba is the most secure in my top 10, while the others could drop when I re-ride them. That's why B(&)M gets my vote.

I've only been to 4 German parks so far (Tripsdrill, Holiday Park, Phantasialand, and Klotten) So uh, based off the 10 ridden coasters I'd place Black Mamba first <3

But Winja's and Heiße Fahrt would be close behind. Maybe someday I'll make it to Europa and Heide.

This is an easy one: Black Mamba! <3

Unparalleled landscaping! Forcefull and exciting ride; all the way from the excellent first drop, to the best B&M zero-g roll of them all, to the very last forcefull turn into complete darkness. Simply brilliant ride!!

And, I've only ridden it in freezing temperatures. Can't imagine what it'll ride like in good weather conditions!

I've only been to 2 German parks and ridden 3 of the above mentioned coasters, which I would rank as follow:
1. Blue Fire
2. Karacho
3. Silver Star

But my opinion might change drastically after I visit Holiday Park, Heide Park or Phantasialand (the latter one is even possible for this season), so I'm looking to see what the future might bring. :D

Or when you re-visit Europa Park and notice that Silver Star is fab and untrimmed now (at least when I was there October 2013) <3

As a coaster on its own, Expedition GeForce. But everything else lets it down.

Black Mamba and Fluch Von Novgorod are much better all round rides.

Colossos for me. Absolutely brilliant all the way around.

Expedition GeForce was good, but it didn't really blow me away.

Black Mamba is excellent and rates above GeForce in my rankings.

The only other one I can comment on is Krake. Oblivion is a mile better.

I guess I should have read Thom's post before voting.
I selected Colossos since it's in my Top Ten, but that's just for the ride itself. When it comes to the overall package I have to go with Black Mamba. Number two is Wodan. Although it's nowhere near the best woodie out there, the queue, station and overall theme are simply amazing. Fluch Von Novgorod would be third, but I really need to get back to Tripsdrill to see what they've done with Karacho as I can imagine it being #3. Blue Fire comes in fourth followed by Krake, which could have been second if it had a themed queue line.
Expedition GeForce could easily have been in the top five if the park had just themed it better. Just imagine what they could have done with an expedition themed station instead of doing absolutely nothing.

Well, to your defense, it is sort of up to you to decide what you find important. I just wanted to make it clear that it's about the entire experience, and not just the ride itself (intensity/forces/etc.). If Colossos is your favourite as a whole, despite being less well themed than Black Mamba/Wodan, then it's a legit choice  .

The ride itself is important, which is why Colossos is in my Top Ten, but I think the overall experience should also be taken into consideration. Black Mamba is not only a great ride, but has everything I look for in a coaster. Colossos is missing all the other bits in terms of theme or interaction.

Olympia Looping :--D

I just loove the force and speed of this old Schwarzkopf gem. Even if I liked Thriller even more way back still on German funfairs. The G-force between the first two loops was so crazy. Thanks Six Flags for ruining this coaster.

In parks my vote goes to GeForce as its "the" Intamin airtime machine. And the way its violently trying to kick your ass out of your seat on the first drop is second to none.

Other favs include Karacho, Blue Fire and Colossos.
