It isn't really a CF park, it's owned by the city of Gilroy. They were losing a lot of money, so they hired Paramount to manage the operations there. When CF bought Paramount, they picked up this contract, but neither side is really interested in maintaining the relationship. The contract expired, and they have been doing 1-year extensions instead of writing a new contract while the city explores other options.
Oh, and your Platinum Pass won't get you free parking at GG.

This was like, the most vicious kiddie coaster ever. It was actually horrible!
Beach.
We played volleyball here. I'm SUCH a sportsman at heart!
Spot Ben in the background WANTING the ball and Natalie going for it (this was either the one she hit about a mile down the beach, or the one which she failed and fell face first. Either way, YAY!).
They also had an old woodie here, which was suprisingly good:
It didn't hurt, which is always a plus for a woodie IMO.
Behind the scenes stuff...

They also had RCT style cable cars and shot tower which you can see in this photo...
An Afterburner, which looked good, but I couldn't be bothered to queue for
The third and final coaster we rode at this park was Hurricane, a compact coaster similar to G force at Old Town (complete with psycho-drop), but on a roof! Everyone else hated it, but I thought it was fab <3
The park was RAMMED, even at night:
Ghetto flats, and Log Flume supports...
I'll leave you with a couple of pics of the Giant Dipper at night, which was brilliant (the prelift section was in a PITCH black tunnel, and actually had drops and airtime)!

Did you do the Haunted dark ride, Cave Train or the Loof Carousel?
(It's super old, like 1907 and still has a working brass ring dispenser.)

Aw cool report, that park looks pretty neat in like, a different sort of way I guess . Sucks it was so packed, but it looks like you had a good time. Those cable cars look ewww though.

.Yay, I think I'll start mine now. God knows how long this will take, and there'll probably be some major over-lapping with Jake, but, may as well start! All the photos are just lovingly ripped from Facebook, so, pardon the quality!
We'll start at the very beginning, Rugby train station!
And then we're on a plane, magically. There was a lot of snowy stuff as we flew over snowy places.

And then, not so much. Lots of nothing but desert for the last hour or so into LA!
OMFG, we're THERE!
And the next day (I have photos of, to be fair it was actually the next, next day) we were greeted with some lovely traffic! To be fair though, it all moved, I just think some of the Americans need to come see the M25!

GAWD I am soo jealous you got to see so many things and stuff! And by the way I am SO watching Glee when it comes out. Beverly Hills and stuff looks fantastic, I've never actually seen pictures but now that I have, I am soo going one day!

OK, the next park, as you will know, was in Santa Monica. This place was cute, but, nothing utterly special.
Just in case you need to be reminded again...
Dr Octupus welcomes you to the park part of the pier (say that quickly, I dare you...)
And what we were there for, the credit!
The station, a bit like TTD's. But, ghetto.

The Ferris Wheel!
I'm not exaggerating when I say this thing was SCARY.

Cred. I should have got better photos of the Ferris Wheel because the cycle was 25 minutes. TWENTY FIVE. And I am NOT joking. It actually was. But, I was ****ting myself. So, there. I really liked the coaster too. It's small, yes, but, in the back it has one pop of air. And that's more than what can be said for Saw.
So, then we went off to the 3rd Street Promenade, where we found this guy trying to communicate with the Mother Ship. And I'm serious.
Yeah, it was weird. The photos of that stop there since someone pointed out I was two inches away from a cockroach. So, I went to get a Starbucks instead.
Waiting for the bus to come back!
I'll just throw in the photos of the drive now... OMG, this made me geek-out with excitment!
This just made me queef.
