B&M Wing Coasters, Best to Worst

^ The layout is more substantial, but not by much. Theming extends to one tower thing plonked in the middle. I'm not a fan of the non-drop that this shares with Swarm either.

As a whole package, I thought Swarm was better.

No wonder you hated it. You sat in the back. It's definitely a front row ride. Front Right to be specific.

This is quite a tough one. Apart from Thunderbird which is by a mile the best of the 4 I've ridden, they are all very similar in my view.

I'd probably put them in this order from best to worst:

1. Thunderbird
2. Gatekeeper
3. Swarm
4. X-Flight

I think Gatekeeper takes second because of the setting rather than the quality of the layout, and Swarm beats X-Flight because I felt that the near misses were a bit better.

Like most B&Ms IMO these type of coaster looks better than it rides - it smooth and simply "nice". So I go with the location first as it adds to the experience. I have ridden six and rate them as follows:

1. Gatekeeper - coaster at the beach
2. Wild Eagle
3. Thunderbird
4. Flug der Dämonen
5. Swarm - backwards
6. X-Flight
