Aquashow Family Park | Unknown | Mack Launch Coaster | 2025

Ok friends, What is this thing? It looks like a powered suspended coaster, but not listed on rcdb, and nothing in a simple Google search. IMG_3871.png

Those Technical Park suspended powered coasters aren't listed on RCDB in any case, at least not the one at Linnanmäki (my home park) either. Probably because they move slower than a ghost train, if I had to guess.

Have Mack actually lost it? First Voltron and its craziness, then Helios' Outerbank... now what the hell is this! Surely this is a Stryker-Coaster, or dare I say and Extreme Spinner??
Why not both haha https://youtu.be/7Z6Kmp0n7L8?t=101
At first glance this does seem like it could have a similar swing launch out of the station, but tbh I don't really have a grasp on what the complete layout might look like

My love of Mack rides weirdness just grows! That element on the right looks insane. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that this is a spinner...

Did a very quick doodle over the picture to show how I imagine the track will connect.. although really confused about the support structure on the left, so could be incredibly wrong! It could also be a shuttle with spikes, however the track laying down in the foreground of the picture seems to be a tight-ish peak, so possibly the peak of a tophat-ish element on the left, with a late twist into the top of the element.

Pretty sure the dive loop in the tight loops back to the LSM track there.

This will hands down be the best SRII-style coaster imo.

Oh yeah, I didn’t spot that track at the bottom right. So yeah, it drops lower out the dive loop like in your drawing. Wonder if there will be a bunny hill on the launch then or just a flat launch? Hard to tell, would love some pictures from another angle! Hehe!

Also, I guess other competition would be gale force, the S&S version? Not heard many reviews of that so don’t know how people place it?

I think there will be a bunny hill similar to the one in the video linked above.

Also Zamperla has the two Double-Heart models that I would consider as competition.

Ok so I've done a bit more observing and come to the conclusion this thing is gonna have a very bizarre station setup. If we go back to *this* pic, you can see two low-to the ground support pieces, and steel work for a building in the background.

I'm convinced the black building around the launch track is nothing more than a tunnel based on how narrow it is and the apparent lack of a clear entrance and exit for guests for it to be a station. We also know the ride will have a switch track that will move between those two supports and the main circuit, and this transfer track features at least one drive tyre suggesting the coaster will have a tyre-driven transport section. So here is my hypothesis (pardon the crude drawing lol).

The station will be situated in it's own separate oval circuit that connects to the transfer on both ends. I'm currently unsure where the ride's maintenance bay will be, but this setup allows for a second train to stack behind the loading platform and the location of the station makes the most logical sense on the site for guest access if you look at an aerial view of the park. Certainly interesting!
