I've almost run over three people in as many weeks walking out in front of me because they're staring at their phones rather than looking at the fact there's a road, or a red man on the pelican crossing or whatever.
I've almost run over three people in as many weeks walking out in front of me because the traffic lights were on red and the green man was on but they had been too busy in their own little worlds to notice I was checking Facebook while driving.
A new announcement has been playing on the escalators in subway stations here for the last week or so: "Please hold the handrail. Don't only look at your mobile phone."
It's **** ridiculous here. Walking anywhere, especially in and around stations is a nightmare.
