Arrived on park for half 9, went straight to Thirteen and joined the back of the queue, it seemed to take ages to actually find the back of the queue, so we walked and walked, and eventually found other people and waited a very respectable 30 minutes. While queuing 30 minutes, we expected this would be the shortest we’d wait for anything all day, how wrong we were! So we get into the mainly themed section of the queue, which was very impressive I might add, we waited about 10 minutes and finally got on Thirteen. To start with, it’s quite disappointing, it’s more Mine Train than Nemesis that’s for sure. So we then go into the ‘crypt’, which can only be described, as an interesting but quite thrilling section of this ride. Next ride we did was Rita, which was quite enjoyable.
After enjoying Thirteen & Rita, we went to do Oblivion which was walk on, so that was ideal. We did that once and then moved along to RMT & Duel. Expecting the queues to pickup, we raced over to Nemesis and got on that, again taking less than 10 minutes to actually get on it. We checked the Air queue but decided we simply couldn’t be bothered to go on it, so off we went to Duel for another shoot out and then off to the courtyard for a respectable cheese burger and fries, as well a large coke.
After dinner, Stuart insisted that we must go on Spinball, so we did that once and to be honest, it didn’t have a large queue at all.
Once we’d been on Spinball, we came up with a plan of getting on Duel to settle the scores and planned on another go on Nemesis & Oblivion. So we went to Duel, in which I kicked Stuart’s arse for the second time, taking the scores to 2-1 and ending today’s Duel. After that, off to Nemesis for two more goes on that and then we planned on going to do Oblivion, probably via Hex. However, it came to our attention while on the Sky Ride, that Thirteen was actually walk on, so we decided sod the original plan, lets see if we can get 13 rides in, on Thirteen lol. As it turned out, we got up to 7 and got bored, so went on Rita, got in our seats and it decided to have a hissy fit, broke down and everyone had to depart the train and re-located behind the air gates. Once that was sorted, we continued in our mission to get at least 10 rides on Thirteen and as you can see from the ride count, we ended up managing to get 14 rides on it, yes. During the Thirteen marathon, we came across many familiar faces from Towers Times.
So, that’s about it from me, apart from these;
