Went to Alton Towers with 3 friends cause we had BOGOF vouchers. Got there at half 10 and left at nearly 6. It was nice and sunny all day. It was fairly quiet except for Rita which we ended up queuing 70 mins for due to the break down :(

Ride Count:

Oblivion x2 (10 minute queue, walk on)
Enterprise (15 mins)
Rita (70 mins)
Air (10 mins)
Nemesis (15 mins)
Ripsaw (5 mins)
Duel (5 mins)
Runaway Mine Train (Walk on)
Congo River Rapids (5 mins)
Log Flume (15 mins)
Hex (Walk on)
Spinball Whizzer (15 mins)

Good Points:

Nice weather and fairly quiet all day. Nice to get Oblivion twice as last year didn't get to do that at all due to it being busy. The queue for everything was nice and short.

Bad Points:

Rita queue - not only was the queue long but they were slow dispatching it plus it broke down. Enterprise also had an annoyingly long queue. Usually walk on it.

Just another thing - we got a survey left on our car. One interesting thing was there was a section on queueing asking if the queues were shorter, much shorter or much longer than we expected. They asked for queuing to get into the park, queuing to get food and the queue for Rita Queen of Speed. Did they ask this on the survey last year? This means that they acknowledge that the queue is long!

They do put survey's out every year. Looks like you had a faily good time opf it apart from Rita que.

Normaly when I go most of the main rides are at most a 10 min wait apart from Nemesis as they dopn't open the SRQ.
