Maybe, maybe not. Rollercoasters have survived deaths before. Like Inferno at Terra Mitica and New Texas GIant.
Then again, those deaths were due to improperly locked restraints, if I recall correctly. This coaster has had cars fall off the track, twice. I think that's a tad more serious.

Demoliton starts next week and a new coaster has been planned. No conclusion on the investigation.

From the local news ( Århus Stiftstidende) - edited:

Tivoli Friheden has now been given permission to demolish the coaster in which a 14-year-old girl died in an accident in 2022.

- We have been given permission to dismantle the track now, and we will start with that next week, says director of Friheden, Henrik Ragborg Olesen, to the newspaper.
The fatal accident on 14 July 2022 is still being investigated by the police and the Norwegian Technological Institute. A final explanation of the incident is not yet available.

Henrik Ragborg Olesen has previously told the Århus Stiftstidende that nine million kroner will be written off in Tivoli Friheden's accounts as a result of the demolition of the coaster.

Tivoli Friheden cannot pursue a compensation case / lawsuit against the Cobra producer, says the director
Instead, Tivoli Friheden will build a new slide at the location of the Cobra. However, the specific model has not yet been decided.

The Cobra was also the cause of an accident in Tivoli Friheden in 2008, in which four people were injured.
Regretting not closing it sooner, After the accident in 2008, the Cobra was sbno for almost a year. Instead of scrapping the coaster, Tivoli Friheden's management chose to have it repaired.

Recently, however, Henrik Ragborg Olesen said that he regretted not closing the coaster after the accident.

After the accident in 2008, Tivoli Friheden filed a compensation claim against the manufacturer Sac Sartori.

In 2011, the Italian company then went bankrupt. But it has later been resurrected with the name Sartori Rides.

According to Henrik Ragborg Olesen, it was not possible to raise a compensation claim after the accident in 2022 because the company Tivoli Friheden signed a contract that no longer exists.
