That's really sad news Chris. Especially after reading that her cancer had receded a bit in the Amusement Today Golden Ticket article honoring Dick Knoebels & her as their Persons-of-the-Year.
furie & I had the honor of meeting Dick earlier this year at a time when Babara was undergoing Chemotherapy. This is a huge blow to someone who has gone through as much as he has, but he's a very strong willed man & I'm sure that he will carry on with more determination than every before to continue the fine work he & Barbara always strive for.
My heart felt condolences go out to the entire Knoebels family & park employees.

Very sad news, a real shame. The park has such character, and that can only be due to the character of the people running it and the love they put into it. My thoughts go out to the family and friends :(

Aww that's really sad, cancer is such a horrible thing! Like Jerry and Furie said, obviously she and her husband put a lot of effort into the park and hopefully he will continue on with that.

Thoughts go out to everyone that knew her.
