I'll address the rankings here, that a few of you brought up:

The last few years all rankings have been based off of the coaster's performance in the previous year's tournament. New coasters are placed near similar coasters or simply estimated by me. Last year, Expedition GeForce lost in the second round, causing a lower ranking.

Any suggestions for a better ranking system, or other tournament comments and suggestions, please post in the main topic: viewtopic.php?f=29&t=38005

Good to see Helix winning, it sure does look like a fantastic ride!

Confirmed that I'll be heading that way at some point next year to ride it for myself!

Well done again valleyfair!, these polls are always a good bit of fun. Unfortunately I didn't contribute this time, but have had a quick look back through the quarter and semi final brackets they went my way, so... :p
