This is one of the smartest and best revamps I've ever seen for a park, I'll be very surprised if it fails. The only thing that gets me about it is the age group they're aiming for? It's not exactly families but it's a bit young for teenagers, can't quite put my finger on it.
The park is aiming for a family public, but the Music Battle concept is ment for tweens, which are kids between 8 and 12 years old. The large marketing campagne didn't miss its effect since all Belgium is now covered under Walibi banners in trainstations, on the street, shops, TV-radio,...it's pretty amazing, really.
Today, Walibi Belgium opened their doors after a very busy winter. Some pictures from the openingday by

Openingdays + Easterholiday = massive crowd!
Walibi and Squad open their re-branded park!
The Squad Quad
The brand new 'Rokken Roll 4D'. A 9 minute show that, if we may believe the first comments, are very impressive. First comments say that the show doesn't get boring and people want to do it over and over again. The queue is themed as the bar at Shimmeria: Psyke. It has been also said that the special effects are very clever and well used. Adios SpongeBob!
This amfitheater used to have a Carribean-theme for over 20 years. Now it's called the 'Fabulous Arena' (I think Walibi begins to get more and more gay than before
) where they play the brand new show 'The Music Battle Show'.
