1200 foot tall S&S Drop Tower in NYC's proposed "Halo"

It's a bold proposal and it's highly unlikely it'll happen. Hopefully they keep the drop tower idea on the table but they'll probably reduce the height if it does come into play. I hate drop towers but this is one I would have to ride.

I could actually see air pressure being a major factor in something of this height. My ears pop every time I ride Dragster, and that's 1/3 the height of this thing.

It seems likely that the seats will be enclosed and pressurized.
