Most Overrated Coasters You've Been On?

Time Traveler. I love the ride, it’s one of my favorites. But it’s no where near as intense as it’s made to be.

Could Cedar Fair consider relocating Gold Striker from CGA? Where would you like to see it go?

Wooden coasters have been relocated before, especially some very notable ones. The cost is a fraction of building a new one, so I find it plausible that CF would look to relocate this great coaster. I feel that wherever it could potentially go, it would instantly be the best or at least top 3 in...

California's Great America - Park sold, eventually closing

I really think the Flight Deck and Patriot have a lot of service left in them. Six Flags has moved Iron Wolf from SFGA to SFA as Apocalypse, then refurbished it as Firebird and it is loved by park goers. Also that coaster is even older than patriot. With the recent refurbishment, it is...

California's Great America - Park sold, eventually closing

I'm gonna put this out there. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but this is a smart move. The company is in a lot of debt. They just sold this land for a huge sum (310 mil). If they were to continue this debt, it would be more likely that another park would have to go. CGA has A LOT of rides...

What’s up with Silver Dollar City’s new attraction?

So I have read multiple threads and rumors since late last year that SDC is building a new coaster. They also apparently have built a huge building behind Fireman’s Landing. Then everything went dark and I can’t find anything. Am I missing something?

What is going on with SIx Flags Discovery Kingdom?

I have seen from other enthusiasts that the park is just awful this year. Now I'm hearing rumors that they may shut down. Does anyone have any sources/evidence on this?

Magic Springs and Crystal Falls, Hot Springs, Arkansas-Worst Park I have been to yet

I see what you mean. It didn’t compare to thunderation, which is a far better mine train at SDC. I liked the scenery, and it’s also relocated. It started as one half of River King Mine Train at SFSTL, then Dollywood, then Magic Springs

Magic Springs and Crystal Falls, Hot Springs, Arkansas-Worst Park I have been to yet

Yes it was. I was just pointing out it was a smaller park and Herschend still has a lot fewer properties than other companies. I don’t know if you ever went but it was very homey and fair like, no crazy theming or huge rides

Magic Springs and Crystal Falls, Hot Springs, Arkansas-Worst Park I have been to yet

Alright, I have always been a fan of independent, small parks (or small companies). I love places like Waldameer, Knoebels, and way back in the day, Celebration City in Branson. I knew heading to this park, it wasn't going to be Disneyworld. But holy crap, it was disappointing. Firstly, this...

    Pennsylvania Independent Park Visits

I visited Waldameer Park in Erie, Pennsylvania and Knoebels Theme Park in Elysburg, PA this past month with my SO. I loved both parks and here's a quick review of each. Waldameer Awesome independent park. It had awesome rides that were very well taken care of, and a good rollercoaster lineup...
