It's a coaster!! ?
Some of my friends visited the park today and took some photos showing the construction site as well as some "footers" already delivered to the site.
Looks very much like Mack to us!
The dinosaur theme is also pretty obvious at this point. - So it seems like we'll get a...
There aren't any specific rumors yet, but when the park announced the demise of Jungle Safari, they also made a point of saying that it would be replaced by something "much better and for the whole family". - This has lead me to believe that we might see something like Avalon at Toverland, where...
I feel like I need to clarify a few things here...
First of all, of course this deserves it's own thread! - This is a BIG new attraction coming to the park.
AND it was originally planned for 2021, but has now been postponed to 2022, partly due to the circumstances created by COVID-19. - I guess...
It does look like a water coaster with what looks like two splash pools dug out. Maybe it will be a custom layout?
Skatteøen is a great family attraction and I wouldn't call it rough.
PLOT TWIST; In an absurd turn of events - on the day that the parks had the green light to open here - the government has announced some new guidelines, that basically says that the parks can't operate any of their "thrill"-rides, as the infection-risk is higher on these with people screaming...
A bit of an update on Denmark.
- The initial plan was to "allow" parks to open from June 8th, but now it has been accelerated a bit and parks in Denmark can now open from May 27th!
The only two parks who will take advantage of this is Tivoli Friheden in Aarhus and Bakken near Copenhagen, which...
The spinner looks to be the same model as Tornado at Bakken, so it will have single cars, not a train like Objectif Mars.
And yes, Hainan Ocean Paradise has purchased the second ever Vertical Lift model and this Shellraiser(?) will probably be some iteration of that.
As a matter of fact, Ocean...
Guys, I'm not talking about the coaster itself being out of place or fitting in the park, I was only talking about the choice of colors.
Neither am I saying that it should have bright striking colors, - I just feel like it will look very montone in an otherwise colorful environment.
I don't like...
Oh ****, here we go!
Gotta say I'm not sure about the colors (or lack thereof) - black track AND supports? I've not had the pleasure of visiting this park yet, but from what I've seen I feel like this will look rather out of place...
The Danish government has put out a reopening-plan and outdoor theme parks are a part of "phase 3" - allowing them to open from June 8th, given things don't take a turn of course.
This opening will naturally be with quite a few precautions. - For example, here's some of the biggest changes Djurs...
Okay that looks REALLY good! That pacing is freaking sweet! (get it?)
I'm not usually very excited about B&M hypers, but this definitely got my attention!
I was thinking it could be a sort of suspended stand-up coaster where you stand kinda sideways on surfboards. But that's probably a bit too out there.
Knowing B&M, they're gonna play it safe. - I remember back before Raptor at Gardaland was announced many thought the - now well known wing...
