The one I rode in Todtnau did too, if I remember correctly (which I might not). I didn't count it, it was really good fun but it just didn't feel like a roller coaster. There's a lot to be said for not thinking about the technicality and science and just going on your own subjective opinion.

^... what? June 2, 2001 apparently. Brain Aneurysm. No technical fault then. My personal pet hate is people adding "the" to ride names. I also once heard Dragon Khan referred to as "that dragon ride in Spain" whilst queuing in for Inferno. I hope he wasn't going to compare the two.

How do you know this? It can't be public domain stuff or it would have been all over CF before.

^ I would agree. But what we don't know is how much money they already have to put into the purchase. The original post said £200m of loans, could be added to. I would hazard a guess at something known and European, but hell... my guess is as worthless as anyone else's. Maybe they're eyeing...

I have a holiday to Cologne booked for Phantasia Land and a drive up to Toverland. I also want to do PBB and Camelot with a quick trip up north as I've not ridden some of the coasters up there. aaand, I'm sure at some point early in the year I'll pop along to Thorpe for Swarm.

That didn't stop them from doing Adventure Land which is clearly South America/Africaish. I think what Europa Park are saying is that no other European Countries are interesting enough to theme around. If I were Belgian I'd take offence.

I'm going to second furie on the first page, defiantly Millenium Coaster at Fantasy Island. It's nuts because it looks like it should be rough as hell, being an old, poorly designed Vekoma. But you can barely feel the ride.

I'm going in Easter... They'll have to be going some to get whatever it is done by then. :(

Re: The Swarm - B&M 'Wing-Rider', Thorpe Park 2012 Looking at the plans that is the right place for the tail of the plane, but it should be turned 90 degrees. The plane wing will be built over the first drop going away from the camera... I'm not sure how much they can stray from the submitted...

Glad to see that most of the options involve a Theme Park of some kind. Although it could always stay as it is to provide an endless source of creepy photos.
