I've hit a few major parks and gotten to ride or re-ride a bunch of top notch coasters since my last post so I guess it's about time to upate this. For sake of ease I've added a 0 coaster slot to allow for my nostalgia fueled ride I'll love no matter how good (or now bad as is the case) it may...
Dr. D's is an investment at a Major top tier SF park. Seeing how things got for the mid to bottom tier parks will be far more indicitive of whether they're pushing their parks and additions to the premium priced experience the CEO wants.
Looks like it'd actually be a B&M Mega but the fact that they'd have to shut down a major road to build that tunnel under it makes me highly skeptical of that layout being the one chosen. I absolutely believe it was another proposed layout, along with several other proposals we haven't seen...
this video doesn't show me the valley at the end of the curve definitively which is why i said that. That valley is a large part of what makes it so brutal.
Well I called where the retrack was, Hopefully its all of the death turn. Will probably be riding it memorial day weekend (if it's open...) when I go to process my pass.
I'm not arguing that. It's just interesting how vindictive the right wing government is that they dare speak up WHEN IT ALREADY DIDN'T MATTER. It's a rough time to be a left leaning us citizen.
it's worth noting that Disney only spoke out after the bill was passed because of the pressure and they're still getting targeted for it.
Will be curious to see what happens next but the taxpayers just incurred a **** ton of debt.
I still stand bedhind what I said. I had more fun on Pantheon than I did VC. VC is the better ride though.
Apollo's really bummed me out too. Don't know if they changed something but it just doesn't run like it used too. A shame to see my first big coaster in such disarray now.
Is your membership Platinum level? Each park seems to have been doing it differently, but in my experience they checked to see if your pass said platinum membership before allowing you to get in line for Ice Breaker. Sadly I can't offer you more than that as I don't know what BGW's specific...
This thing is a pretty incredible family coaster. strong pops of ejector, great forces, and also no inversions to intimidate. Biggest downsides are the low throughput and getting in and out of the trains can be difficult. Oh and comfort collars are still trash.
Yes the one on the hill they removed because most people didn't know that existed because it was so far removed from the rest of the water park? you know the one tantrum also now blocks access to and also uses some of the space for? That one...?!?
yeah. I don't think the fact that the land...
Something that I think enthsuiast's often forget is Water Parks are truly a major if not THE draw for small parks in the Northeast/Mid Atlantic US. Darien Lake's water park for example is always slammed while the dry park is usually pretty dead. I'll still believe it when I see it but that's...
Well they had announced Predator was getting titan track but we never knew to what extent. I'll wait for something more official but if this is true i'll be bummed. Was REALLY still hoping it'd get an RMC iron horse conversion.
this is silly to me. I find it unlikely the person who responded to this knows what private high level talks may be happening between SF and EPR. Even if the person did they almost assuredly couldn't say so publicly. while I still think the removal is highly unlikely, this twitter exchange...
Interesting to note passholders get a single ride voucher during previews while ice breaker and gwazi seem to be unlimited rides between specific hours.
this is what I recall. Also Superman (as it's still known by all the locals) has been on one train ops for what feels like almost a decade local gp new it only ever had one train, everyone was aware. Even when they had 2 train they basically never ran both if the ride was even open at all...
