It's really the whole broom conundrum isn't it? If you replace the brush and then the handle, is it the same broom?

I also thought they were the old ones refurbished but the seat pillars are different. They have a rounded welded shape at the top of each of them. This could just be the old seat pillars with new fixings or plates added to strengthen them but they are different in a way.

It's a really fun ride actually, took a while to warm up but later on in the day it ran very nicely!

Unless a a retrack will help resolve any potential maintenance issues they may have, i feel a new set of trains, a power wash and repaint would be a much better option. Or just remove it entirely.
